Bonnel Spring :- These are the oldest and most common springs , Bonnel springs are a knotted round top , hour glass shaped steel wire coil, which when joined together  makes a bonnel unit.

Pocket  Spring :- These are Thin Gauge , Barrel Shaped , Knot Less coils , individually enclosed in fabric pockets, as the springs are not wired together , they work more or less independently , the weight on one spring does not affect its neighbours.
